Mountain Biking Class



By the end of class you will be able to:
  • Pick and hold a line
  • Go over and around obstacles as you choose.
  • Climb and descend hills with proper form and power.
  • Change a tire
  • Turn a corner with accuracy and confidence.

Each participant will receive:

  • A list of training tips to increase your Strength, Balance & Endurance for cycling.
  • A list of equipment and gear recommended for Mountain Biking.
  • A Trail Training water bottle.
  • Discount coupon for CBE bike shop in Auburn.
  • Improved confidence in their riding ability!

We will cover the following skills:


Rules of the road (trail etiquette)

This involves signaling passes,right of way,respecting the trail system.

Gearing, brakes and proper bike fit

We will teach you how to adjust the bike to fit your body.
We will teach you how to use your gears and brakesmore efficiently.

“Picking a line”

Focus on a route and learn to follow through.

Balance & turns

Drills to improve core strength & balance on your bike.

Ratcheting

Making the bike work for you!

Flat tires & trail adjustments

Practice makes perfect!

Training to become a better rider

Workouts off the bike to improve your strength & stamina

We will conclude the day with a trail ride to practice your new skills!
